This is the latest victim on I-95 N, just outside of NYC near the CT Border...
The Damage: $250.XX

...plus mount and balance = $300. A sharp pothole on I-95N just below Philadelphia ate my front left PSS back in April. Absolutely infuriating!

I know the pain! At least it didn't damage your wheel.

OUCH! I cringed at the site of the PSS getting destroyed. Those puppies are not cheap by any means. I've been eating the up so fast, I'm thinking of going with something cheaper next time.

$300? I wish I could get mine that cheap. 265/30/20 start around $350 just for the tire.

Well there's your problem: dubs! Mine was a front, so it was 245/35/19. The rears are slightly more at 265, but not as much as 20s!

They were on the car when I bought it. They look great and fit surprisingly well. But 19's would be better from a cost and comfort standpoint. I stumbled across a set of 19's with tires for $380 earlier today. Seriously thinking about giving the guy a call.

That certainly sounds like a good deal! I'm a big fan of wheels not being larger than they need to be. I like the 18" track wheels on my car more than the 19" street wheels but they came with the car so I use them. Some sidewall is a good thing!

Such a beautiful tire...

Actually, I got it on Tirerack shipped to an installer for $211.00, and they're mounting it for $20. I'm actually below the $250 mark.
